Hi Guys! It's me againn masterzarlyn28 in the hive! For today's blog let's talk about my Splinterlands Fan Art for this week! For this week I chose Cornealus, the floating eyeball from Neutral Element under Untamed Edition. So lets go and join me as I explained the step by step process of my artwork!
CORNEALUS LORE
The large, floating eyeball monster known as Cornealus has strange magical powers and can see anything for miles in any direction. No one knows from whence it came.
CARD DETAILS
A ranged attack cost 10 mana and has 4 abilities at different levels which are healing, thorns, return fire and magic reflect.
MY PROCESS
I do the sketching first, draw some circles for the eyes then add some curves shapes outside the cornea, it's like the body of the cornea. After doing some rough sketch, I finally outline it using Pencil no. 3. To achieve the perfect circle, I used the shape button and draw 3 circles for the eyes. Add some details in the eyes and a veins surrounding it. |

For the base color, I used different shades of violet using the color picker to choose from light to dark. For the Cornea, I pick some pinkish color surrounded by a little bit dark violet and the dark violet for the veins and tentacles or the body. I used the Pen Sharp for the dark shades to have a pointy edges. |

Then used again the color picker to adjust the color from light to dark and added some other shades of violet in the middle part. The curves or the body of cornea does have 4 color shade of violet. |

I did some smudging and blur brush to smoothen the color and have them mixed up. I used a 35% Blur brush in this part and added some highlights using the sharp pen. |

For the cornea, I added some small details like putting some dark and light shades for it not to look flat and no form. Added some fill between the light and darkshades and smudge some shapes and blur it. |

Adding some details around the cornea a violet line using again the sharp pen and smudging the veins to make it look more realistic. Added some light colors in the white part area. |

Added some smokey effect its like it energy coming out from his tentacles and I think its really cool. I just use the watercolor brush with 5% opacity |
