So, guys, u have been on a journey to learn linux and for the most part i has worked out well but i often run into issues when using AWS. I believe it is because the servers on AWS come preconfigured and have their own specific restrictions. I would like to know what the folks in the community here use for the tools that they develop on here and elsewhere.
Feel free to also drop links to tutorials and any reading I could do to grow my skills as a computer programmer. I would really like to know which servers are best for running steemit witnesses or other cryptocurrency nodes. I think part of my problem is I choose a VPS with the wrong specs which in itself will cause a plethora of issues.
my goal is to learn how to apply techniques an build sites like utopian.io and Dtube but first i need to learn how to work the backends and understand the blockchains functions.
