My Teardrops
The ever dripping faucet
This human emotion's outlet
Gushing with reckless abandon
When hearts are played at random
Filling our eyes with bounty
In moments of joy and ectasy
Still trickling down again
When our body is in pain
Soaking our bones and marrows
With grief for the departed fellows
Drowning troubled mind laden with fear
If they'll just let go of the tears
Not knowing the power and value of teardrops.
We've pushed it value to ground-drops
