With pomp,dainty steps, measured gait, a high heeled footwear to boot, curly lashes,flashy smile, a thoroughly polished face handled by experts, choreographed comportment, a flowing gown, finished off with a fragile but spotless skin, Miss Aruwe Alina a Student of the Federal University of Technology,owerri,stepped up to the rostrum with joy to be crowned Teen Queen,Miss Nigeria,and awarded the 5 million naira with a brand new Honda car alongside,this was a moment only reserved for few angels and human creations that were masterpiece.
At the momentous occasion, she was burning with fire from the inside,with a bubbly face and butterflies in her tummy, she was on cloud nine. She had every right to. Emerging first in such a contest is never a walk in the park.
It is preceded by weeks of rehearsals, buying or hiring of clothes/costumes as the case may be, getting to read some stuffs to avoid such elementary errors like inability to give the full meaning of PHCN or answer questions like who was the first Teen Queen, and all the likes, all these were what had hindered many would-be queens from wearing the crown,but she had scaled through.
Sadly, a little over three months later, Alina the teenage queen descended from the throne the same way she ascended it. She was stripped of her title with dispatch in a hurry, shortly after semi-nude pictures of her found its way to Facebook.
The pictures, needless to say, came in different shades, shapes and styles. One showed her puffing a phantom sized rolled weed; smoke hovering over her face, the queen giving a posture like a Hollywood gangster, an afro hair on her head, a double-pocket denim jacket with loose buttons, eyes ajar, a necklace resting snugly in between her chest balls, her bosom bowing in submission like a fallen hero, our teenage queen lost and slayed the aura of royalty.

The pictures, it was learnt, were for her birthday that was to come few days later. Like pre-wedding pictures, this one is called they called "pre-birthday" pictures. Her boyfriend Jimmy who had given her this idea would be somewhere watching as thousands and thousands of tweets and comments piled on her social media page.

Hours after the obscene pictures of Alina surfaced,with many people ogling at it, news came that she's no more the queen. Dethroned!
The second runner up, Miss Meggy Faruwa, had replaced the fallen queen. Anon, emergency saints and critics emerged, hauling all manner of invectives at the errant gal. No word, no matter how indecorous, was spared as she was berated for dressing overboard.
The social media was her hell,many were quick to join the bandwagon of those throwing stones at someone caught in crime,within hours,the pictures has been circulated to confirm the already spreading news.
The fashion agency had tried to clamp down in the trending news after she wrote a letter of remorse, stepping down as queen and advising others not to emulate her indecent dressing,for it had killed her dream, though the tide has abated,Miss Alina was left to her fate and shamefacedly had started avoiding the public,who knows what could be running through her mind now or when she would heal.
