Hi, all I am having some difficulty using the steemit since the major update. Specifically transferring the Steem safely and not exposing my keys. I have been using the exchange Poloniex to buy them the first time I transferred Steem I used my memo key like I did in the past and was told that I broadcasted my private memo key and to change my master password.
The most recent time I have tried another key it worked however when I went to do other stuff trying to delegate steem power using steemconnect after powering up it refused to log me in. I tried logging into steemit it refused I finally managed to regain access by changing my account password and noticed my profile picture was removed so think my account got compromised.
So can someone please help and tell me exactly what key I should be using as Poloniex requests a memo key which I been told not to use and another key I used I suspect almost compromised my account.
