This is a fear. But unrational one.

I can post Mona Lisa and tell that it's my creation. But how much will I gain? Even if no censoring-nazis with fat ugly downvotes are there.

Free speech CAN do SOME harm. And censors is here to "protect" you from a "bad" information. But free speech do much more good tan harm. Real harm is censure, not a lack of it.
