Picture this in your mind: You are about to give a presentation to a panel of professors. You worked so hard for this report. You had sleepless nights. You begged God to be with you. Finally, as you give the report, comments cut the presentation --- none positive, only heartbreaking and painful comments. You stand in front of everyone, feeling alone and helpless. Someone from the panel even blurted out that you are simply wasting their time. Terrible, right?
This happened to me some time ago. I wanted to get angry with God then. Why did He allow that to happen? But instead of getting angry, I prayed and asked Him to be with me and be able to stand still despite of the humiliation. Why was I humiliated by the way?
At the end of that day, I felt weird because I didn't feel sad or disappointed; rather, I felt calm. I felt at peace and took it as an opportunity to improve. I knew God was with me. He gave me the strength to push through with the presentation and the strength to accept my mistakes. He gave me the strength to carry on.
Knowing that God is with you is victory in itself, even in the midst of trials and difficulties. Trust Him. Battles are won before they even started. ^_^
Be blessed some more! :*
