Have you ever been confident enough that you thought everything will go out the way you wanted but it didn't?
Just recently, I did.
I was confident that I'll top the board exam. I didn't study hard. I didn't take my review sessions seriously. I even sleep or cut classes during the review period. I really thought my analytical skills, communication skills and my strong faith are enough to lead me to the top but it didn't. :)
God would not have put a dream in my heart if He hadn’t already given me everything I need to fulfill it.
Topping the board exam was really my dream and I knew I have all the things I need to make it a reality but I was so lazy enough to work on that dream.
Just recently, I got my exam rating and to my surprise, I'm just a point behind those who topped. If I got 1 or 2 more correct answers then I'll be one of the top 10 board exam passers. At first, I felt a little bit sad and I regretted the things that I did not do like reviewing seriously. But as days passed I realized, regretting won't help me but acceptance will. I was arrogant and confident. It dawned on me that may be my experience was a life lesson in humility to prepare me for a bigger opportunity someday. I'm thankful for that failure because it taught me to be humble. Besides, every successful person I've read about failed countless times on their way to success. I think I'm in good company! ^_^
Failure is the key to a much bigger success story. So hold on, friend, we're going to learn a few more lessons. :)
May your dreams come true! ^_^
Marysent ^_^ :)
I'm back! :D
