Thank you for studying the case of my Venezuela. As you comment, certainly, since Chavez came to power, education was politicized in such a way that if you do not agree with Chavez ideas, you have no chance to advance in the teaching career. The worst thing has been the deterioration of education itself, because schools and high schools look more deteriorated than ever, and teachers today have the lowest salary in their history, forcing them to give up with few years of service, to go to others countries where they can work with a living wage. This is causing educational institutions to be running out of teachers, which is going to mean an unfortunate loss of this important human resource.
