Yesterday I had a special outing with my super team of girls from Hive Caracas and our special guest Antonieta. We went to a cafe on the 22nd floor of the famous Torre La Previsora in Plaza Venezuela. I had been to this place before and, honestly, there was something in their menu that I didn't like but what got me was the incredible view of the city.
I was happy photographing Él Ávila and, of course, the table full with the different orders we placed. I don't think I had ever been able to get such a great picture of many dishes on the same table, plus the black color of the dishes gave a different and very aesthetic touch to food photography.
While I was looking at Cerro Avila from above, the song Caracas in 2000 kept playing in my head. Sometimes it is simply impossible not to romanticize this city.
