The way to the historical Caspar David Friedrich view! Greifswald, my hometown in Mecklenburg Vorpommern, is known for its "Caspar David Friedrich View".

The church "Dicke Marie" and the "Greifswalder Dom" shape this unique view. Casper David Friedrich was an artist and draftsman and was born in Greifswald. Through his paintings from the region, this city view was named after the artist.
