St Mary’s Academy's Calcea Rujean Johnson and Ne’Kiya Jackson claim to have found a new way to prove the Pythagoreans's theorem using trigonometry.

They presented their discovery at the American Mathematical Society, whereby it was also noted by an experienced math professor that it wasn't the first time trigonometry was used to do so.
