12. Understanding the doctrines of God...| Mass Indoctrination...01.03.2022|

It a privilege to witness the mass Indoctrination service of today by brother Eli through the MCGI community. I welcome us back to my usual sharing of understanding of things learnt.
From the book of Colossians 3:1, I learnt of the most important things to focus on. The bible verse asked that we set our affections on things above and not the things of the earth. It is in the human nature to desire the earthly things and this is not the instruction of God to us. According to Acts 17:21-28, our lives are in God and in him we have our being. However, it is our obligations to seek God because he wants us to seek him. God made us understand that he is not far from those who seek him. From Philippines 2:3, I learnt that it is God who work in us both in will and purpose. So which ever race we come from, God has a commandment for us to seek him.
Ephesians 2:11,12,13, taught is that there are men who are too far from God. The devil is always there ready to take their desires to do good. So many time in our life, we have people who is always distracting us from doing good just as described in Acts 13:7-10
Also from Matthew 13:8, I learnt the kinds of heart possessed by humans using the description from the sowers parable. In that teaching, I understood that there are four kinds of heart that exists in human. The first of this heart were described as the seeds that fell by the road side. These are men with weak stands, easily persuaded by the devil, so when the word of God enters them, the devil snatches it away from them immediately. The second kind is described as the seeds that fell on rocky soil. This type of men hears the word but do not have strong foundation to practice it, so when little temptation comes, they falls to it. The third kind is the seeds that fell on thorny soil. These are men choked by things like ambitions and vision that keeps them away from God. The last kind of heart are the seeds that fell on the good soil, they are honest and good heart that having heard the word, kept it and beared good fruits. From the four hearts, three are bad which signifies that there are more evil people than good.
In Ezekiel 36:36-38, God promised to give us a new heart and new spirit and cause us to work in his status making us his people with him our God. This shows that there is hope for us all because God knows wants us to be saved, 1 Timothy 2:4. Genesis 1:2 also further taught of the work of the holy spirit and 1 Corinthians 6:9 made us understand that only in God, we are justified and santified.
