A LATAM plane pursued the path of the total solar eclipse, allowing passengers on board to see the total darkness for more than eight minutes, tripling the approximately 2.5 minutes that it lasts on land.
On board, LATAM took more than 50 travelers from 10 countries - mostly amateur astronomers and lovers of these phenomena - to experience the equivalent of three total solar eclipses in a single sighting.
