Well, for a while now I've always been lost in thought, thinking about this and that, and something seems to stand out for me: I keep seeing it everywhere I go or turn, even on the internet, and it is about how everything we do now requires us to take a picture, make a video, and then post it online. I'm not saying it is bad, as we're visiting places, eating good food, buying good and nice things, and all of that. Of course it is a good thing, but must everything make it to the internet?

Not as if it's bad to post and let people see; it's just becoming too much. I love seeing people happy and sharing things online, no doubt about that; however, I feel we're already at a stage whereby we're not actually enjoying that moment/thing again; we're only enjoying it if people get to see it. You know some people are actually going to a nice place to eat, have fun, take pictures, and all, and much more than enjoying the place, their thoughts and worries are about how it will look online, how they will get to post it, and how they want to get the perfect picture just to make everyone see they're living their lives, and I still beg to ask, must everything make it to the Internet?

Are there not moments you just keep, and even when you later post them, they will have more meaning and be for a reason? Not everything that we do needs to make it to the internet; we can just enjoy whatever moments quietly, and even if we get to take pictures or do videos, it would be for memory's sake, and even if we post it later, it would mean more and be more about us and not the internet audience.

No one actually needs to know about some of our moments, but we have some people who're just too quick to post and all. Well, this is personal, though, and for me, I just feel there's a special kind of feeling and happiness in doing/enjoying something without feeling the need to announce it online. Social media is good, but we need to be wise with its usage too. If not, we will soon find out that we've lost our happiness because we've gotten so attached to showing people how happy we're, because what we now feed on or see as our happiness is their validation, likes, and comments.
