I agree with you that there work is to save lives, but you will as well agree with me that money is needed to get the stuff needed for a patient treatment, and such pills, injections and all are not always available in some hospitals too, that's why they most times ask for upfront payment. Not for themselves, but to get the stuff needed for the patient.
