I've always been the very grateful type. Even when things don't look like it or go the way I planned, I will still be grateful. I've seen and experienced so much in life to not be appreciative. And like the saying always goes, no matter what happens, or no matter what you're going through, God will always leave the room/space for thanks. Meaning there will always be something to be grateful for.
First off is my health. Like I said earlier, I've seen and experienced a lot in life to not be grateful. I've faced serious health issues in the past, so I very well understand what it means to be able to talk easily, wake up without pains, roll on the bed with ease, and all of that. If you don't have good health, you won't be able to live and enjoy life. So I'm grateful and thankful for my health.
Secondly, I'm grateful to family and friends. Aside from myself, they've become my greatest cheerleader, supporting me, helping me, advising me, and not giving up on me even when I lost interest in everything. In short, I can't thank them enough, and I doubt if words alone would be enough to appreciate the good and loving person that they've been to me and how they've stood by me.
Last but not least, I'm grateful to God for life itself and the little progress I'm making. It feels so cool to see that I'm making progress in life; even if it doesn't look big and fast, at least I'm moving forward. Either big or small, I'm always happy and ready to celebrate myself regardless. That way, I keep getting motivated that better days are still ahead.
Gratitude isn't something to overlook. It is something that should become our habit. When we think very deeply, we will know and see diverse things to be grateful for. When you see and look at other people and their conditions and the way they're still living and all, you will see every reason to be grateful.
