Animals have a lot of fascinating things to discover, so I watched one encyclopedia video and they were saying that in some sex-breed species, the mother becomes the baby's first
mate.
Like she, at one point, spent her final days protecting them and getting weaker and once
they are old enough, they feed on her body for the nutrients they need to survive.
It sounds crazy but I think nature has some beautiful ways of giving the next generation a better chance, maybe. That is why some sacrifices are made between these species, in order to keep the next generation growing. And that is very necessary in life.
