I feel excited to be with you again in this extraordinary community #hivediy to share with you a tutorial on how to make a simple but beautiful wreath with crepe paper, very colorful and easy to make.

Me siento emocionada de poder estar con ustedes nuevamente en esta extraordinaria comunidad #hivediy para compartirles un tutorial de como realizar una sencilla pero linda corona de flores con papel crepe muy colorida y fácil de hacer.

This wreath I made them for an artistic makeup initiative, since I could not get artificial flowers because it was Sunday and almost everything was closed but I was thinking in the store for a moment and I said in my mind but I can make them with paper, and it's my first time but I can get them right, and I bought the crepe paper in fuchsia, lilac, green and white that day I was like a boy with a new toy hahaha it was a challenge and I wanted to get down to work to see how the flowers were going to turn out.

Esta corona las hice para una iniciativa de maquillaje artístico, ya que no pude conseguir flores artificiales porque era domingo y casi todo estaba cerrado pero me quede pensando en la tienda por un momento y dije en mi mente pero yo puedo hacerlas con papel, y es mi primera vez pero pueda que me salgan bien, y compre el papel crepe en color fucsia, lila, verde y blanco ese dia estaba como muchacho con juguete nuevo jajaja fue todo un reto y quería ponerme manos a la obra a ver que tal me iban a salir las flores.

Material I used:

▪︎Fuchsia,white,lilac and green crepe paper.
▪︎Scissors.
▪︎Needle and thread.
▪︎White glue.

▪︎Aguja e hilo
▪︎Pega Blanca

Procedure for making the flowers:

I commented by cutting two fingers of the lilac crepe paper 6 then I shaped it into a bow with the scissors, then I stretched the crepe paper and it was already shaped like petals then with the needle and thread on the straight part at the bottom I started to bake the paper and then I put all the thread together and gave it several turns at the tip and at the top it looked like a flower.

Comente cortando dos dedos del papel creme lila 6 después le di forma de arco con la tijera, después estire el papel crepe y ya tenía forma de petalos luego con la aguja e hilo en la parte recta de abajo comencé a cocer el papel y después junte todo el hilo y le di varias vueltas en la punta y en la parte de arriba quedó como una flor.

I repeated the same procedure with the fuchsia and white crepe paper until I had several flowers ready.
I also made flowers of two colors by taking part of the fuchsia and white paper.
I took a lot of thread and put it double on the needle and passed it through the bottom of the flowers so that they would be inside the thread and then I joined the two ends.

Repetí el mismo procedimiento con el papel crepe del color fucsia y blanco hasta tener varias flores lista.
También hice flores de dos colores agarrando parte de papel fucsia y blanca.
Agarre bastante hilo y lo puse doble en la aguja y la pasa por la parte de abajo de las flores para que quedarán dentro del hilo después uní las dos puntas.

With the green paper I made little leaves and used the white glue on the leaves and glued them on each side of the flowers.

Con el papel verde hice pequeñas hojitas y use la pega Blanca en las hojas y las pegue en cada lado de las flores.

This is how my wreath was, ideal to take a selfie, or also for artistic makeup or for whatever you want because they are very pretty, you can also change the thread for a thin wire so they do not fall off the head or some kind of elastic strip, as I did it with thread to hold it in the back of the wreath I put little black hooks in the back of my hair.
I have used this wreath twice in different makeovers, one was for a catrina and the other for a fairy and I have them saved to use them again, I love how they look and the colors are so subtle and tender. I hope you like my wreath creation, they are easy to make and don't take much time.

Así quedó mi corona de flores ideal para sacarse selfie, o también para maquillajes artístico o para lo que ustedes mas deseen porque quedan muy lindas, también pueden cambiar el hilo por por alambre deldadito y así no se caen de la cabeza o algún tipo de tira elástica, yo como lo hice con hilo para sostenerlo en la parte de atrás de la corona de flores me coloque ganchitos negros en la parte de atrás de mi cabello.
Esta corona de flores la he usado dos veces en diferentes maquillajes uno fue de catrina y la otra de hadas y las tengo guardadas para volver usarlas, me encantan como se ven además los colores tan un toque muy sutil y tierno. Espero que les guste mi creación de la corona de flores, son fáciles de hacer y no quita mucho tiempo.
