My Third bucket list Fulfilled: Set of flowers for my daughter 馃グ 馃尯馃尭馃尲
Happy and blessed day dear friends of NEEDLE WORK MONDAY, it is a pleasure for me to share again some of my work in this dear community and add one more task to my wish list 馃槉
At home we are undergoing repairs and the mess I have is fatal, however I have reserved a little of my time and space to place my machines and thus continue with my sewing work, this time I managed to make a nice outfit for my youngest daughter and that would look beautiful on a night out at the carnival parties held in my city, I was also able to make a blouse for myself with pieces that I thought would not be useful for that.
Feliz y bendecido d铆a queridos amigos de NEEDLE WORK MONDAY, es un placer para m铆 compartir nuevamente un poco de mis trabajos en esta querida comunidad y a帽adir una tarea m谩s realizada de mi lista de deseos 馃槉
En casa estamos en reparaciones y el desastre que tengo es fatal, sin embargo he apartado un poco de mi tiempo y el espacio para colocar mis m谩quinas y as铆 continuar con mis trabajos de costura, esta vez logr茅 realizarle un lindo conjunto a mi hija menor y que luciera hermosa en una noche de paseo en las fiestas de carnaval celebradas en mi ciudad, tambi茅n pude realizar una blusa para mi con retazos que pense que no me servir铆an para eso.
I made my daughter's outfit with a fabric that I had saved for several years, I had bought it to make her a beautiful dress, the years have passed and my daughter has grown a lot, she is currently 10 years old and when I found out that I wanted to make her a dress She told me that she was old and she doesn't like dresses, she told me to do something else for her.
So after thinking so much I decided to make her a blouse, following a model that Guardado had and that has become fashionable again, look at the model for my daughter and she agreed, after cutting the blouse I saw that I have enough fabric left and I managed to make this cute set:
El conjunto de mi hija lo hice con una tela que ten铆a guardada desde hace varios a帽os, esta la hab铆a comprado para hacerle un lindo vestido, los a帽os han pasado y mi hija creci贸 mucho, actualmente tiene 10 a帽os y al saber que quise hacerle un vestido me expres贸 que ya ella estaba grande y no le gustan los vestidos, me dijo que le hiciera otra cosa.
Entonces despu茅s de tanto pensar decidi hacerle una blusa gui谩ndome por un modelo que ten铆a Guardado y que se ha puesto de moda nuevamente, le m铆rate el modelo a mi hija y ella estuvo de acuerdo, luego de cortar la blusa vi que me quedo tela suficiente y logr茅 hacerle este lindo conjunto:

The model of this blouse is quite simple, since it does not have a collar or sleeves, I started first by marking and cutting the front part, then the back part.
I learned my way of sewing thanks to my mother, she taught me to work directly on the fabric, and because of this I confess that I do not like to work with patterns, always when I am going to make a garment, whether it is for a friend, a relative or For me, I look for the person's clothes and they guide me for the measurements, I know it's not the most correct thing but that's how I learned 馃槉
El modelo de esta blusa es bastante sencillo, ya que no lleva cuello ni mangas , comenc茅 primero marcando y cortando la parte delantera, luego la parte trasera.
Mi forma de coser la aprend铆 gracias a mi madre, ella me ense帽贸 a trabajar directamente sobre la tela, y debido a esto les confieso que no me gusta trabajar con patrones, siempre cuando voy a hacer alguna prenda bien sea para alguna amiga alg煤n familiar o para m铆, busco prendas de la persona y por ellas me gu铆o para las medidas, s茅 que no es lo m谩s correcto pero as铆 fue como aprend铆 馃槉
I looked for my bag of threads to start sewing and I decided to choose the color red, taking advantage of the fact that the fabric has this color and that my daughter also really likes the color red.
Busque mi bolsa de hilos para empezar a coser y decidi escoger el color rojo aprovechando que la tela tiene este color y que tambi茅n a mi hija le gusta much铆simo el color rojo.
After cutting my shirt, I realized that the leftover piece was quite big, so I looked for one of my daughter's favorite chores, to find out if the leftover piece would reach me and I could make her a Short and with this make her a nice outfit.
When my daughter found out that she would get a set, she was very happy, she likes the sets very much, whenever I make her clothes I try to make her combined sets and they are her favorites
Luego de cortar mi camisa pude darme cuenta que el retazo que me sobr贸 era bastante grande as铆 que busqu茅 uno de los chores favoritos de mi hija, para saber si me alcanzar铆a el retazo sobrante y poder hacerle un Short y con esto hacerle un lindo conjunto.
Mi hija al saber que le saldr铆a un conjunto se puso muy feliz, a ella le gustan mucho los conjuntos, siempre que le hago ropa trato de hacerle conjuntos combinados y son sus favoritos

To assemble the shirt I always start at the shoulders, always trying to reinforce the seams, I have my overlock saved since I have not had time to do maintenance and lately I was doing the sewing very badly, the advantage of the machine homemade is all the sewing models that it brings and with these you can make a false overlock on the edges of your garments and thus prevent the fabrics from fraying
Para armar la camisa siempre comienzo en la parte de los hombros, tratando siempre de reforzar las costuras, mi overlock la tengo guardada ya que no me ha quedado tiempo para hacerle mantenimiento y 煤ltimamente me estaba haciendo la costura muy mal, la ventaja de la m谩quina casera es todos los modelos de costura que trae y con estos puedes hacerle un falso overlock en las orillas a tus prendas y as铆 evitar que las telas se deshilachen
Searching through my things I found a rubber band that I had bought a long time ago, that's the good thing about buying things and saving, I really liked it for the design of my daughter's shorts since it's a bit wide and makes it look prettier
Buscando entre mis cosas consegu铆 una goma que hab铆a comprado hace tiempo, eso es lo bueno de comprar cosas y guardar, me gust贸 bastante para el dise帽o del short de mi hija ya que es algo ancha y hace que se vea m谩s bonito
I also try to zig zag the edge seams to prevent them from fraying.
Tambi茅n trato de repasar con zig zag la costuras de orilla para evitar que se deshilache
To finish my set I decided to make a tail for the hair, I joined two pieces of fabric that were left, and I sewed and two fine tails for a better finish, here I am going to show you this trick that I have so that our tails are beautiful and perfect
Para finalizar mi conjunto decid铆 hacerle una colita para el cabello, uni dos retazos de tela que quedaron, y cos铆 y dos colitas finas para mejor acabado, aqu铆 les voy a mostrar este truco que tengo para que nuestras colas queden lindas y perfectas
You can use tails that they sell or you can use elastic, make the ring of the size that you are going to use, join the fabric at all its ends forming a ring of approximately 60cm, you are going to put this inside the tail and you are going to sew bending the shore making a kind of ring
Puedes utilizar colitas de las que venden o puedes utilizar el谩stico, haces el aro del tama帽o el cual vas a utilizar, unes la tela en todos sus extremos formando un aro de aproximadamente 60cm, esta la vas a meter dentro de la colita y vas a coser doblando las orilla haciendo como especie de un ruedo
We sew all around and in the end the best thing is that we don't have to finish it by hand and it will be much more beautiful than the way we traditionally do the tails for our hair.
Cosemos por todo el alrededor y al final lo mejor es que no hay que terminarla a mano y quedar谩 much铆simo mas bonita que de la forma como tradicionalmente hacemos las colitas para nuestro cabello.

My daughter was delighted with her new outfit and asked to look beautiful on a night out for the carnival parties in my city 馃グ
Mi hija quedo encantada con su nuevo conjunto y pudo lucir hermosa en una noche de paseo para las fiestas de carnaval en mi ciudad 馃グ
I did not want to let this little job go by and I share the beautiful result made of many pieces that I had in my bag, that is why I always keep them with the hope of using them later, I started joining small strips and then I was joining the larger ones and I could make a pretty blouse, on the back I placed a piece of elastic tulle and this is how I stay:
Este otro trabajito no quise dejarlo pasar y les comparto el hermoso resultado hecho de muchos retazos que ten铆a en mi bolsa, por eso es que siempre los guardo con la esperanza de utilizarlos m谩s adelante, comenc茅 uniendo tiras peque帽as y luego fui uniendo las m谩s grandes y pude realizar una linda blusa, en la espalda le coloqu茅 un retazo de tul el谩stico y as铆 me quedo:
