Continuing my work and fulfilling part of my wishes from my bucket list, I have managed to make my cushions for my furniture and thus continue decorating my living room in jeans with the patchwork technique, I also made a skirt taking it out of pants and shorts for myself. youngest daughter with pieces of fabric that I had saved and I have loved the results, here I share a little of my wishes come true I hope you like them 馃槉

Continuando mis trabajos y cumpliendo parte de mis deseos de mi bucket list he logrado hacer mis cojines para mis muebles y continuar as铆 la decoraci贸n de mi sala en jeans con la t茅cnica del patchwork, tambi茅n hice una falda sac谩ndola de un pantal贸n y un short para mi hija mas chiquita con retazos De tela que ten铆a guardados y los resultados me han encantado, aqu铆 les comparto un poco de mis deseos hecho realidad espero les gusten 馃槉
The patchwork technique is a technique that comes from years and years ago and is based on making cuts of different fabrics and joining them creating incredible things, several years ago I tried to do some work with this technique but I didn't have enough material and I simply forgot it. .
It's been so many years and I've done so many sewing things and kept every leftover fabric scrap so much that they don't fit on the shelves anymore 馃槀, I'm so excited to continue with this technique that I wouldn't mind spending all my scraps to make many incredible things, sometimes we want to have a lot of time to be able to dedicate ourselves only to sewing but when you have children and a home to take care of it is difficult to find time to dedicate yourself fully to this incredible profession.
From my wish list I have already managed to do two things that I wanted for a while and that I had not been able to do due to lack of time and material, now that I have so many jeans I have been able to achieve it and I plan to continue doing more things for now I share the three cushions that I managed to do with three different techniques, here I explain the process of each one:
The first of them I did with a simple technique and that gives a beautiful model is a diamond type shape I combined it with jeans and navy blue fabric and this one stands out a lot, I explain the process; You are going to cut two squares of the same size and you are going to join them completely on all the edges, when you have them ready you are going to cut them in the shape of an X I hope that in my image you can see the model, then we stretch it and iron it and that way you can see it the shape like a diamond, then I joined it to the square piece of Jean and so on to achieve a better design and here I show you the result:
La t茅cnica del patchwork es una t茅cnica que viene de a帽os y a帽os atr谩s y est谩 basada en hacer recortes de diferentes telas y unirlos creando incre铆bles cosas, hace varios a帽os atr谩s intent茅 hacer algunos trabajos con esta t茅cnica pero no contaba con suficiente material y simplemente la olvid茅.
Han pasado ya tantos a帽os y he hecho tantas cosas de costura y guardado cada retazos de tela sobrantes tanto que ya no me caben en los estantes 馃槀, estoy tan emocionada de continuar con esta t茅cnica que no me importar铆a gastarme todos mis retazos con tal de fabricar muchas cosas incre铆bles, a veces deseamos querer tener mucho tiempo para poder dedicarnos solamente a la costura pero cuando tienes hijos y un hogar que cuidar es dif铆cil sacar tiempo para dedicarte de lleno a este incre铆ble oficio.
De mi lista de deseos ya logr茅 hacer dos cosas que deseaba desde hace un tiempo y que no hab铆a logrado hacer por falta de tiempo y material, ahora que tengo tantos jeans he podido lograrlo y pienso seguir haciendo m谩s cosas por ahora les comparto los tres cojines que logr茅 hacer con tres t茅cnicas diferentes aqu铆 te explico el proceso de cada uno:
El primero de ellos lo realic茅 con una t茅cnica sencilla y que da un modelo hermoso es una forma tipo diamante la combin茅 con jeans y tela azul marino y esta have que resalte bastante, les explico el proceso; vas a cortar dos cuadrados del mismo tama帽o y los vas a unir completamente por todas las orillas, al tenerlos ya listos vas a cortar en forma de X espero que en mi imagen puedan apreciar el modelo, luego lo estiramos y planchamos y as铆 se podr谩 apreciar la forma como de diamante, luego la uni a pieza de cuadrado de Jean y as铆 sucesivamente para lograr un mejor dise帽o y aqu铆 les muestro el resultado:
For my second cushion I cut triangles from Jean and triangles from a polka dot fabric that I found in my patchwork, that's why it's good to save every leftover scrap of fabric 馃槉, I loved the color of this fabric since it's the color I'm combining with my furniture, I join a triangle of Jean with a triangle of this fabric and then I join each square formed with it to give an incredible effect, the idea is that the fabrics do not coincide when joining them here I leave the result:
Para mi segundo coj铆n corte tri谩ngulos de Jean y tri谩ngulos de una tela de lunares que consegu铆 en mis retazos, por eso es bueno guardar cada retazo de tela sobrante 馃槉, el color de esta tela me encant贸 ya que es el color con el que estoy combinando mis muebles, uno un tri谩ngulo de Jean con un tri谩ngulo de esta tela y luego uno cada cuadrado formado con esta para dar un efecto incre铆ble, la idea es que no coincidan las telas al unirlas aqu铆 les dejo el resultado:
For my third cushion, I used a mosaic type style. I started joining a piece of jeans, regardless of the shape or size, and I also incorporated my white polka dot fabric and the navy blue one, and from there I began to paste mixed shuffled pieces of jeans. in different ways trying to match one to the other, reinforcing each seam to prevent it from unstitching, it is incredible that nothing is lost, even the smallest piece can be used to make beautiful creations, and this was the result:
Para mi tercer coj铆n utilice un estilo tipo mosaico comenc茅 uniendo un retazo de jeans no importa la forma ni el tama帽o y tambi茅n le incorpore de mi tela de lunares blancos y de la de color azul marino y de all铆 comenc茅 a pegarle barajado variado retazos de jeans en diferentes formas tratando de qu茅 me coincidieron una con la otra, reforzando cada costura para evitar que se vaya descoser, es incre铆ble que no se pierde nada hasta el retazo m谩s peque帽o sirve para hacer lindas creaciones, y as铆 fue el resultado :
For the back of my cushions I used fabric scraps from an old pants that I had disassembled a while ago, these pants belonged to my older sister, she rarely used them because the color was very bright and she doesn't like that kind of colors, and I really think that this fabric is not suitable for pants, I was not very convinced by the color for my cushions but after joining them I loved how it looked, the color is really beautiful for the cushions and it combines with the wood of my furniture
Para la parte trasera de mis cojines utilice retazos de tela de un viejo pantal贸n que hab铆a desarmado hace un tiempo, este pantal贸n le pertenec铆a a mi hermana mayor, ella poco lo uso ya que el color era muy llamativo y a ella no le gusta ese tipo de colores, y de verdad pienso que esta tela no es como para un pantal贸n, no me convenc铆a mucho el color para mis cojines pero despu茅s de unirlos me encant贸 como se ve铆a, de verdad que el color es hermoso para los cojines y combina con la madera de mis muebles.
For the filling, I used what was left over from the repair of my puff, I love pillows or cushions with this type of anime since they are quite moldable and do not weigh anything, I had a lot of time on my mind to do this job, And it really met all my expectations, I didn't think it would look so beautiful, I really liked how everything turned out on me, the color combination really makes my furniture look more beautiful and the best of all is that it was made with useful material .
Para el relleno utilice anime de lo que me sobr贸 de la reparaci贸n de mi puff, me encantan las almohadas o cojines con 茅ste tipo de anime ya que son bastante moldeable y no pesan nada, este trabajo ten铆a mucho tiempo rondando en mi mente para hacerlo, y de verdad que cumpli贸 todas mis expectativas no pens茅 que se viera tan hermoso, me gust贸 demasiado como me qued贸 todo, de verdad la combinaci贸n de colores hace que mis muebles se vean m谩s bonitos y lo mejor de todo es que fue con material de provecho.

And taking advantage of my wish list and adding each job, I checked through my scraps and found two strips of fabrics which seemed perfect to combine. and I decided to make a Short for my youngest daughter, she really likes to wear this type of garment at home, the longest part was square when cut I was missing a piece in the back, I joined a piece of the same fabric and sewed, then I assembled this part of my short.
For the waist I used the piece of navy blue fabric, I put it double and thus avoid putting rubber on it, I don't remember the name of this fabric but it is quite strong and elastic and it is perfect for the waist of my shorts, then I joined the another part and that's how I stay:
Y aprovechando mi lista de deseos y a帽adiendo cada trabajo, revise entre mis retazos y encontr茅 dos tiras de telas las cuales me parecieron perfectas combinarlas y decid铆 hacerle un Short a mi hija menor, ella le gusta mucho usar este tipo de prendas en la casa, la parte m谩s larga era cuadrados al cortarla me le falto un pedazo en la parte trasera, le un铆 un pedazo de la misma tela y cos铆, luego arme esta parte de mi short.
Para la cintura utilice el retazo de la tela azul marino, este se lo coloque doble y asi evitar colocarle goma, no recuerdo el nombre de esta tela pero es bastante fuerte y el谩stica y es perfecta para la cintura de mi short , luego uni a la otra parte y as铆 me quedo:

I also finished a project for my eldest daughter, she is just getting a little interested in sewing and she asked me to help her make a skirt with the jeans that my sister gave me, she was guided by a model she used when It was smaller, I explained to her what she had to do and I took charge of sewing it with a machine.
The making of the skirt is a bit simple, we are going to cut our pants at the height of the hem, with the legs of the pants the jean strips are removed to make the bottom part of the skirt, we made this one with small heels and then uni with seams and this is how it looks:
Tambien le culmine un proyecto de mi hija m谩s grande, ella se est谩 a penas interesando un poco en la costura y me pidi贸 que la ayudara a hacer una falda con los jeans que mi hermana me obsequi贸, ella se guio por un modelo que usaba cuando estaba m谩s chiquita le expliqu茅 lo que deb铆a hacer y yo me encargu茅 de coserla a m谩quina.
La realizaci贸n de la falda es un poco sencilla, vamos a cortar nuestro pantal贸n a la altura del fundillo, con las piernas del pantal贸n se sacan tiras de Jean para hacerle la parte de abajo de la falda, esta de la hicimos con tacones peque帽os y luego uni con costuras y as铆 quedo:

En mis bolsas de retazos pueden creer que consegu铆 una tela que compr茅 cuando mi hija chiquita tendr铆a aproximadamente tres o cuatro a帽os, la finalidad de esta tela era hacerle un vestido, yo creo que para el tama帽o que tiene mi hija en estos momentos alcanzara sera para una blusa 馃き, este proyecto lo agrego a mi lista de deseos espero poder cumplirlo pronto.
