They say money doesn't bring happiness, but in today's world, who lives happily without money? That's our daily concern, and on my ideal weekend, I visualize myself coming home with tons of money and being greeted by my two beloved cats and my youngest daughter, assuming my older children are busy with their jobs. I arrive home very happy, order some pizzas, and sit down to watch TV without a worry, because I've already earned enough money.
Oh, you thought I was going to draw a beach, maybe a mountain, or maybe a shopping mall with shopping bags in my hands, but no, right now what I want most is to be like this, sitting eating a pizza with my children watching TV with my cats lying near me, and with the peace of mind of knowing that I already have enough money to take care of many things.
And after a routine away from home all week, my happiness right now could be summed up very simply: the tranquility of my home, the TV on with my favorite shows, my cats by the side with their food. Nearby, of course, because otherwise they wouldn't leave me alone for a second, ha ha. A few pizzas and knowing that my children are okay, maybe accompanying me or maybe going about their business. It's not easy when you don't have financial stability, going out very early every day, taking my children to their activities, the older ones to university and work, and the youngest to her studies. This is complicated since, as she's in high school, their schedules change suddenly, and I have to be alert to go out at the time indicated in the WhatsApp group. In the moments I have available, I try to offer the things I'm selling or find ways to earn money.
For this, I have to get up early every day, take care of the chores, and go out, drive to different places and distances, endure traffic, noise, people, ha ha. Then, get home, do more chores, find ways to create things to earn some money, and rest at the end of the day for just a few hours before returning to my routine the next day.
Sometimes I think that many people complain about the job they have, but I find it easier to keep a schedule and earn a salary and that way you can organize yourself better, as opposed to struggling day to day and not knowing what to do to make some profit, I have not been lucky enough to get a good job but somehow we have to earn a living and even more so when you are the boss of your home, that is why I think that my ideal weekend would be: being in the tranquility of my home knowing that my children are well, that my cats are close to me, and having enough money to be able to feel tranquility and happiness.
