Finalizando febrero de 2023: Confeccionando chaqueta con jeans reciclados 🪡🧵❤️

Saludos amigos de NEEDLE WORK MONDAY, es un gusto compartir con ustedes parte de mis proyectos realizados, ya finalizando el último lunes de febrero desee culminar este gran proyecto que tenía en mente y compartirlo con ustedes espero les guste. 🪡🧵❤️

Cada proyecto que realizamos nos llena de mucha emoción y con cada uno, vives una experiencia maravillosa, hoy quiero compartirles un proyecto que tenia en mente y que añado a mi lista de deseos, crei que no lo terminaria a tiempo para publicar hoy día lunes y lo logré, por lo menos en hora de mi pais 😊 y si en tu país ya es martes o les mi post en dia martes me siento complacida en compartirles mi trabajo en el último día de febrero de este be 2023 🤗

Greetings friends of NEEDLE WORK MONDAY, it is a pleasure to share with you part of my completed projects, and at the end of the last Monday of February I wanted to finish this great project that I had in mind and share it with you, I hope you like it 🪡🧵❤️

Each project that we carry out fills us with great emotion and with each one, you live a wonderful experience. Today I want to share with you a project that I had in mind and that I added to my wish list. I thought that I would not finish it in time to publish today, Monday and I did it, at least in my country's time 😊 and if it's already Tuesday in your country, I feel pleased to share my work on the last day of February of this year 2023 🤗

En esta oportunidad quise hacer una chaqueta con Jeans reciclado, pensé que me llevaría menos tela pero gasté aproximadamente tres pantalones ya que la desventaja es que como están un poco deteriorados se pierde mucha tela, mi chaqueta la cosí también con mi máquina casera ya que si saco la Overlock me va a ocupar muchísimo más tiempo.

A esta máquina debo hacerle mantenimiento y ajustarla para que me pueda hacer la costura bien y esto sé que me llevaría mucho más de un día porque ya lo he hecho antes y es bastante frustrante controlarla , y de verdad en estos momentos no tengo el tiempo para dedicarme a ella así que prefiero cocer solo con mi máquina casera.

Decidí coser con hilo blanco ya que el jeans siempre me ha gustado como se ve con este color de hilo, guao amigos otra cosa antes de comenzar mi proceso, pensé que sería más sencillo pero hacer una chaqueta no es muy fácil, pero yo tengo una manía que cuando comienzo un proyecto debo terminarlo para poder estar tranquila porque sino ?, me ataca la ansiedad, comencé desde que me levante hasta este momento que por fin me senté a redactar mi post, sin mas que hablar aquí les dejo el proceso:

This time I wanted to make a jacket with recycled Jeans, I thought I would take less fabric but I spent approximately three pants since the disadvantage is that since they are a bit deteriorated, a lot of fabric is lost, I also sewed my jacket with my homemade machine since if I take out the Overlock it will take me much more time.

I have to do maintenance and adjust this machine so that it can do the sewing well and I know this would take me much more than a day because I have done it before and it is quite frustrating to control it , and really at this moment I do not have the time to dedicate myself to it so I prefer to cook only with my homemade machine.

I decided to sew with white thread since I have always liked how jeans look with this color of thread, wow friends, another thing before starting my process, I thought it would be easier but making a jacket is not very easy, but I have one My hobby is that when I start a project I have to finish it to be able to be calm because otherwise, anxiety attacks me, I started from the moment I got up until now that I finally sat down to write my post, without further ado, here I leave the process:

Para la confección de mi chaqueta me vi en la obligación de hacer patrones ya que esta lleva demasiadas piezas y es difícil cortarlas directamente sobre la tela, dibujé cada parte en revistas viejas y guiándome por una chaqueta que tengo desde que estaba muchacha pero que actualmente me queda muy pequeña.

Hice mis patrones justo a la medida de esta chaqueta pero al cortar la tela amplíe cada patrón para que me saliera un poco más grande mi chaqueta nueva y así poder ponérmela, para cortar las mangas lo hice directamente sobre la tela de mi pantalón ya que estas son más grandes y me resultó más fácil, esta se corta en dos secciones la parte trasera es aproximadamente 10 cm más pequeña y el resto acorde a la medida de nuestros brazos.

For the making of my jacket I was forced to make patterns since it has too many pieces and it is difficult to cut them directly on the fabric, I drew each part in old magazines and guided by a jacket that I have since I was a girl but that I currently love. it is very small.

I made my patterns exactly to the size of this jacket but when cutting the fabric I enlarged each pattern so that my new jacket would come out a little bigger so I could put it on, to cut the sleeves I did it directly on the fabric of my pants since these They are bigger and it was easier for me, this one is cut into two sections, the back part is approximately 10 cm smaller and the rest is according to the size of our arms.

Luego comencé a cortar cada parte de mi chaqueta tratando de qué cada sección me quedara la tela parecida para ambos lados, el diseño de este Jeans y traté de qué me quedasen cada sección en la misma dirección

Then I started cutting each part of my jacket trying to make each section fit the similar fabric for both sides, the design of this Jeans and I tried to make each section fit in the same direction

El bolsillo de uno de los pantalones me gustó muchísimo para mi chaqueta, lo corte para utilizarlo como bolsillo en mi creación y así evitaría cortar un bolsillo nuevo, con la parte de adentro hice la tapa para el bolsillo, me gustó mucho ya que la tela está bastante oscura y se verá muy bien.

I really liked the pocket of one of the pants for my jacket, I cut it to use it as a pocket in my creation and thus avoid cutting a new pocket, with the inside I made the cover for the pocket, I liked it a lot since the fabric it's quite dark and will look great.

Al comenzar a coser casi siempre cuando hago camisas comienzo por la parte trasera ya que me resulta mucho más fácil y menos trabajosa que la parte delantera, así que comencé por esta part, uní los laterales ya que tuve que cortarlos en dos pedazos y así rendir mi tela

When starting to sew almost always when I make shirts I start from the back part since it is much easier and less laborious than the front part, so I started with this part, I joined the sides since I had to cut them in two pieces and thus yield my cloth

Cosí todas las piezas de la parte trasera y continué con la parte delantera, comencé directamente el bolsillo en la parte del medio de cada lado y cuadrándolo para luego unirlo a los dos laterales, luego arme la tapa del bolsillo fijándola directamente en la parte que estoy armando, para luego unir con la parte de arriba

I sewed all the pieces of the back part and continued with the front part, I started the pocket directly in the middle part of each side and squaring it to then join it to the two sides, then I assembled the pocket cover fixing it directly in the part that I am assembling, to later join with the upper part

Luego continué cociendo la manga, unir mis dos piezas comenzando desde la pestaña sobresaliente hasta el final, para luego hacerle ruedo en esa pestaña dobla medio centímetro hacia dentro, uno de los modelos de chaqueta que me gustan mucho son de flecos tanto en los puños como en la parte de abajo de la chaqueta quise hacer las mangas de esta manera pero al final decidí hacerle puños hacemos a las camisas manga larga

Then I continued sewing the sleeve, join my two pieces starting from the protruding tab to the end, and then roll it in that tab fold half a centimeter inwards, one of the jacket models that I like a lot have fringes both on the cuffs and on the cuffs. in the lower part of the jacket I wanted to make the sleeves this way but in the end I decided to make cuffs we make long-sleeved shirts

Repasé cada costura por dentro con costura recta Isaac y por fuera con costura recta, al tenerla ya toda armada le confeccione el cuello y los puños, para el cuello siempre lo corto un poco más grande del molde ya que me ha pasado que lo corto casi exacto y al coserlo no me cuadra en las puntas, en esta ocasión lo hice de esta manera una una de las partes del cuello directamente a la chaqueta y luego cosí la otra parte del cuello para que me pudiera quedar exacto y evitar que me quedase deforme

I went over each seam on the inside with a straight Isaac seam and on the outside with a straight seam, when I had it fully assembled I made the neck and cuffs, for the neck I always cut it a little larger than the mold since it has happened to me that I cut it almost exact and when sewing it does not match at the ends, this time I did it this way one of the parts of the neck directly to the jacket and then I sewed the other part of the neck so that it could be exact and avoid it being deformed

al final para la parte del ruedo sólo le pasé una costura y le hice bastantes cortes pequeños espero que en mi imagen lo puedan apreciar ya que quiero la parte de abajo de mi chaqueta con flecos, para que se vea despelucado debo hacerlo con mucho más tiempo así que no lo termine porque si no no me daría tiempo de publicar mi pos, pero igual a medida que la vaya usando se le irá mucho mejor

In the end, for the hem part, I only sewed a seam and made many small cuts. I hope that you can appreciate it in my image, since I want the bottom part of my jacket with fringes, so that it looks messy, I have to do it with much more time. so I didn't finish it because otherwise I wouldn't have time to publish my pos, but still as you use it it will be much better

Finalizada me la probé y me sentí demasiado contenta ya que me encantó el resultado, siempre me hago expectativas de cómo quedará mi proyecto y de verdad que la realidad supera esas expectativas 😊

Y así quedó mi chaqueta de Jeans reciclado, es maravilloso volver a darle uso a esos pantalones que pensaba que jamás me pondría

Once finished, I tried it on and I felt very happy since I loved the result, I always have expectations of how my project will turn out and the reality really exceeds those expectations 😊

And that's how my recycled Jeans jacket turned out, it's wonderful to put those pants back to use that I thought I would never wear
