Have you ever tried to bring a new cat into your house? (While the old one is still living there...?)

Cat-Jacket

                          I used to be a nice kitten;
                          none of my humans were bitten.
                          I would play all day long
                          by myself in my home,
                          mind my own cattish business, señor.
                          But one day I could see her
                          sleeping under my bed;
                          I could not help myself or my claws.
                          Now I’m wearing these garments;
                          say they will keep me harmless,
                          until I get to stand the new pet.
