Nobody likes criticism, by its very nature, criticism means that something is missing, that you have flaws, that someone has found, even constructive criticism, even if it is given with the intention of helping you instead of hurting you, can sow doubts in your head.
Unfortunately, if you never get criticized, you put yourself in the dangerous position of never improving, that's fine if you're the expert at what you do, but for most of us, we're working hard to improve on something every day. It would be great if we could criticize ourselves, but an objective person is usually needed to give us solid advice to improve.
Just because you do not like criticism, does not mean you can not learn to take advantage of them, consider the source, all the criticisms are not the same, an expert who gives you useful advice on how to improve should have much more weight than a well-meaning friend, search people who are where you want to be, and consider their suggestions, specific advice, learn specifically what you need to do to improve, how to work on your skills.
You must have concentration on improving the areas that you think need improvement, listen to your instinct in this case, and create an improvement plan that makes more sense to you, if you fail the first time you receive comments, it's okay, follow your action plan to improve it and try again, you learn better when we try things several times, if you start listening to new tips to improve, you know you're improving.
The most important thing is that you do not let the criticism depress you, you may feel that you will never get where you want to be or that there is too much to learn, relax, they all started as beginners at one point. Do not let them hurt your self-esteem, instead, enjoy what you're doing, knowing that you're improving all the time.
