I always judged the success of my posts buy the amount of comments it received. Interaction and feedback were what excited me and encouraged me to do more posts.

Don't get me wrong, the rewards were great in the sense that it helped get your post noticed which in turn helped boost the amount of comments you got, but
I have noticed that most of the top trending posts now have very few comments which I find odd.
