This foreclosed property is located in the Northridge Country Club addition in Texarkana, Texas. It is one of the nicer areas of the city. I was completely shocked when the listing agent called me for a quote and I saw the condition of the pool. The 20' x 40' rectangle pool was a complete disaster.

My crew started this project with a major clean-up of 4-6 inches of sludge in the bottom of the pool. The floor had extensive cracks, and needed some major work. In addition to the floor, my crew did an acid wash on the fiberglass steps, light housing, and all the exposed lines. The white aluminum coping had a lot of fading and scratches, so we painted with a bright white enamel. Since the condition of the pool had deteriorated so badly, we replaced both floor drains with new Hayward anti-suction covers, brackets, and gaskets. We also replaced all the return jet covers and gaskets.

We installed a new heavy gauge 27 mil liner. It was a pretty tricky process on this pool, but everything went smoothly. Finishing touches included a new Aquarite 40k salt system with 600 pounds of start up salt, a new LED colored pool light, and a new pool pump.

The pool turned out awesome. Both the bank and the listing agent were extremely pleased with the results. Feel free to ask me any questions concerning your swimming pool. Hope you enjoy reading this post.
