It was a movie. It was fun, and gave us great moments with the characters and great action; I liked it. In the end it's just a movie, and I judge it on whether I was entertained, which I was--that's how a fan can be supportive. No, I didn't like some of the things they did with the sequels, but life's too short and I'm already on blood pressure medicine.

As for Leia, we don't really know what happened with her after Return of the Jedi, but the movie made it clear she trained with Luke. I'd imagine they didn't have that many choices, what with the actress having passed away without filming any more scenes.

In the end the sequels weren't as good as the originals, but to me they were still good. However, they weren't so special that I'm willing to argue and get upset about them.
