I noticed that too. It's really harsh. I don't understand why it's there in the first place. To discourage those who post large volumes of stolen photos and self-upvote them? That's throwing out the baby with bathwater. Minnows have 2.5 free downvotes, too, and they can downvote the small time scammers.
I used to make between $0.5 and $1.5 per post. Now I can make more than a dollar only by using @ocdb. From a financial perspective, though, posting hasn't made much sense for quite some time. Only auto-voting for curation rewards and perhaps buying more STEEM at these prices does. Then again, I'm not here just for the money. But I must say I'm not liking the curve and I'm in the top few thousand SP holders. Newbies can't get any traction unless spotted by Orcas or whales. Not even Dolphins can do much for them these days. Earning from posting comments is dead because of the fucking curve.
