Market Wizards
What separates Market Wizards by Jack D. Schwinger from other trading books is you are not hearing one opinion. This book takes you to 18 different economic minds and shows you how they work by asking them the important question, “How do you make money consistently by trading on exchanges?”.
Market Wizards answers the question and then some. For example, Ed Seykoyta, a trader who got a return of 250,000 percent from the year 1978 to 1988, said: “Everyone gets what they want out of the market.”. What he meant by this was your mentality is everything and even if you think you want to make money and you aren’t making it then there is something in your subconscious that does not want to make money and will want to be where you are at. He wisely thinks that we all get what we want. Another trader, who gives information that one would not think to be correlative to trading, is Van Tharp. Van Tharp is a trading coach who uses NLP to teach his students to become great traders. NLP is basically the technique of mimicking all actions and thoughts of someone else to produce the same results. Van worked with and asked all the best trader’s questions that expose their thinking patterns. He then developed a course to give to average people and get them to think and act the same as these great traders and he received excellent results.
The reader from this book does not get one person’s opinion about trading but 18. All the 18 traders in the book have done incredible things on the market and are true successes. With the information that is given in this book, it will supply all the information needed to become an excellent trader.
