There is a new feature available on YouTube that allows you to schedule videos, and announce them at the same time!
How it used to be when you scheduled:
- Video was private and not visible to anybody
- Video link was not working because video was private and gave error
- People could not comment, like or search for the video
After this update:
- Video is visible in subscriber feed
- Video page is visible with countdown until video goes live
- People can comment in a special comment screen before video starts
- People can like and comment in a regular way
- People can set a reminder to be notified once the video goes live
- Video is searchable and ready to be found in general search results.
In Conclusion:
I love this new feature which allows me to announce videos before they are released so subscribers are ready to watch it, as soon as it goes live. I think this will boost views and subscriber engagement with the channel, but what do you think?
