Reflection
Death in this scripture symbolized brokenness. God is in the process of making us the man/woman that He wants us to be. God wants us to be whole that is why He wants us to experience brokenness. Like a small house that must be destroyed so that a better condominium unit will be built. A small house will experience brokenness, and that brokenness can sometimes be gradually. We, therefore should not be afraid of brokenness because we know that God is at work for our betterment.
God is delighted on those people who is broken because that is the time that we can see the nothingness in ourselves and the majesty of our God, as written in Psalm 51:17
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.
The degree of our brokenness is the degree of our wholeness.
The area of our brokenness will also be the area of our wholeness.
