Facebook Controversies Hit Company Where It Hurts Most: Growth
In blockchain proof-of-work and proof-of-stake are the two most widely used methods to keep block producers honest. Today's facebook valuation drop demonstrates what their implicit model is: proof-of-vulnerability. I'm kidding but not entirely and, of course, I should not compare Facebook's centralized database to a publicly transparent blockchain.
But the force that pushes this ad company back to honest operation (or out of business) is the vulnerability of their public images. Which is now proven.
