Hello everyone, today I wanted to share the photos of a sea turtle called Cardon that I found and released. I live on an island and it is common for me to visit another small island that is nearby called the friars, it is approximately 30 minutes from each other by boat, boat or peñero. On a Sunday morning we went for a walk to that small island and back in the afternoon there was a lot of seaweed on the beach where the boats guard, we had to cross all the algae to reach the shore and the truth is a bit disgusting When I'm reaching the shore, I'm reminded of something that moves between the algae, when I bend down to look it was this little turtle that was already without water and tangled in the algae, I took it and quickly looked for a container to place it with a little air, at that time do not release it because as I told you there was a lot of seaweed. That day I decided to take her home, the next day I did not know whether to release her because she was very small, my brother asked in a place near the house where they take care of their nests, if it was convenient to release her or if it was better to take her away them to take care of her . They advised her to release her in the night, no matter how small she was, she was ready to go to the sea. In the night there are not many birds which could eat it, that's why it was the best time to release it.On the third day of having it at home, we waited for it to take place at night to take it to the end, we went at 8:00 p.m. and I was afraid to leave it on the shore because there was so much swell, I insisted to my brother to go inside a little and release her where there was not so much swell and so she did.
The sea animals are wonderful and it is our duty to take care of them and protect them, I hope this little cardon turtle is alive and enjoying freedom in the immense sea. 🐡 🐠 🐟 🐬 🐳 🐋
