Hello hivers, welcome to my blog, full of anecdotes, reflections, a touch of nature and all my love for writing. In one of my publications I told you about my son David's operation, it was successful and he returned to school after Easter but with his limitations because he can not do physical activity for 2 months, it's been a month and thank God he has evolved quite well. At the beginning of the third term with him also a lot of activities planned by the teachers among these a very nice one in Natural Sciences.
The idea was for the students to learn how to make compost and then use the compost to plant some seeds. At home we do not have our own yard because we live upstairs in a family house, however I grow in pots and my son always watches me but since he had to do his activity, he collected leaves, added soil to the pot and there he also added the bark of vegetables and greens. He was always watching to stir everything and moisten it because the objective was to generate a good compost to grow.
The little snails, known here as "guácaras", you know that they feed on leaves and the sprouts they devoured them and my son, very worried because he had to present the evidence of the activity to the teacher, kept insisting, adding basil, chili and tomato seeds until the sprouts came back and he was very happy. I have been for several weeks taking photographic evidence, I love this type of very experiential activities. In our country the economic situation is very difficult and without exaggeration in every family there is always a garden, if there is no yard, one still manages to grow, in addition to this the pandemic also allowed people to value plants more and the importance of these for human life.that children and young people are sensitized to nature, show respect for plants and give them value is very nice and vital for the new generations to appreciate, know the green world that still exists on the planet.thanks for reading...
