The first trail running race i participated was in 2013...
A race called Pearl Izumi Mountain Cup.
It was a small championship including 3 races in Attica.
The first was in a forest in the area of Kryoneri,the second on Penteli mountain and the third on Parnitha mountain.
The photos i'm gonna share with you are from Kryoneri race.
Kryoneri is situated in the hills in the northeastern part of the Athens conurbation, at about 380 m elevation. It lies in the eastern foothills of the Parnitha mountain and 20 km northeast of Athens city center.
The race course was 13 kilometers long...
It was a good entry race for the beginners in trail running,because the ground was not too hard and the altitude increase was only 420 meters...
