Hola amigos de HIVE, he estado un poco distante ultimamente, pues he estado un poco ocupada e incomunicada, razón por la cual no había podido hacer otra de mis publicaciones, las razones se las vengo a contar el día de hoy.
Resulta que desde que pasó el último ciclón llamado "Ian", todo quedó muy devastado, en las zonas urbanas la devastación no se notaba tanto, pero en las zonas rurales se veía mucho más el destrozo.

Yo vivo en la ciudad, y gracias a Dios, mi casita no sufrió ninguna afectación, pero la casa de mi abuela que es en el campo, perdió mucha parte del techo, entre otras cosas, quedó todo muy afectado, lo cual entristeció mi corazón, pues esta casa es la principal o mejor dicho más afectivamente la casa familiar.
Desgraciadamente, el país está pasando por una situación económica muy difícil, por lo cual el gobierno no tenía las condiciones necesarias para dar a todos lo que se necesitaba para los arreglos pertinentes, por lo que por nuestros propios medios tuvimos que buscarlo todo para poder arreglar la casa familiar que con tanto esfuerzo siempre hemos tratado de mantener en buenas condiciones.

I live in the city, and thank God, my little house did not suffer any damage, but my grandmother's house lost a lot of the roof, among other things, everything was very affected, which saddened my heart, because this house is the principally or rather more affectively the family home. Unfortunately, the country is going through a very difficult economic situation, for which the government did not have the necessary conditions to give everyone what was needed for the pertinent arrangements, so we had to look for everything by our own means to be able to fix the family home that we have always tried to keep in good condition with so much effort.
La casa de mi abuela está hubicada en una zona donde la tecnología aún no es muy buena y, por tanto, no hay conexión por datos, por lo que estuve ausente de HIVE, pues decidí tomar unos días de mis vacaciones para ayudar en la reparación de la casa.
Mi abuela está un poco viejita ya, por lo que teníamos que ponernos las pilas, pues hubo que trasladarla de la casa para que no sintiera el olor a cemento ni de la pintura, y como es lógico a las personas mayores no les gusta salir mucho, por lo que teníamos que hacerlo en el menor tiempo posible, para que pudiera regresar pronto.

My grandmother's house is located in an area where technology is still not very good and, therefore, there is no data connection, so I was absent from HIVE for a few days, because I decided to take a few days from my vacation to help out. house repair. My grandmother is a bit old now, so we had to put our batteries together, because we had to move her out of the house so she wouldn't smell the smell of cement or paint, and of course older people don't like to leave their houses, so we had to do it in the shortest possible time, so that they could return soon.
Fueron días muy fuertes y de mucho trabajo, cansancio y bajo el sol agotador de este caluroso verano. Por suerte el techo se consiguió hace tiempo, y ya se había puesto, por lo que en esta parte de la reconstrucción nos ahorramos este paso.Comenzamos con el retaqueo de toda la casa a la redonda, pues el ciclón, lo levantó todo, por supuesto, este trabajo lo hizo un albañil, después vino la pintura de toda la casa, ya esta tarea si fue mía y de mi tía, y más tarde la limpieza de los regueros que deja la pintura y la albañilería, también la limpieza de los muebles así como su restauración.

They were very strong days and a lot of work, fatigue and under the exhausting sun of this hot summer. Luckily the roof was achieved a long time ago, and it had already been installed, so in this part of the reconstruction we avoided this step. Of course, this work was done by a mason, then came the painting of the whole house, and this task was mine and my aunt's, and later the cleaning of the streaks left by the paint and the masonry, also the cleaning of the furniture as well as its restoration.
En esta tarea nos echamos una semana, con jornadas de hasta de 12 horas, pero el esfuerzo valió toda la pena, pues quedó muy linda la casa, quedó como nueva, y además mi abuela quedo más que satisfecha por volver pronto a su hogar, o mejor dicho, el hogar de toda la familia porque así es como la vemos.

We spent a week on this task, with days of up to 12 hours, but the effort was worth it, because the house was very beautiful, it was like new, and also my grandmother was more than satisfied to return home soon, or rather, the home of the whole family because that is how we see it.
Creo que para ser una casa de campo, está en muy buenas condiciones, y eso se debe al amor y el empeño que le hemos puesto para siempre mantenerla en pie, y que mi abuela se sienta bien en un lugar acogedor.
En las fotos podrán ver el cambio que dio, pero lo mejor de todo es la satisfacción que siento al poder aportar mi granito de arena para restaurar la casa de mi abuela, todo el esfuerzo, sacrificio y dedicacion que le pusimos, valió la pena, tanto que el cansancio, y el calor agotador, desaparecieron al ver la alegría en el rostro de la madre más longeva de la familia, al ver su casa tal y como era antes y aún más bonita.

I think that for a country house, it is in very good condition, and that is due to the love and effort we have put into it to always keep it standing, and that my grandmother feels good in a cozy place. In the photos you can see the change it gave, but best of all is the satisfaction I feel at being able to contribute my grain of sand to restore my grandmother's house, all the effort, sacrifice and dedication we put into it, it was worth it. So much so that the fatigue and the exhausting heat disappeared when I saw the joy on my grandmother's face, seeing her house as it was before and even more beautiful.
