Esta vez he elegido representar en mi estilo al personaje Vruz, usando un coloreado muy llamativo.

I want to share with you my entry for this week's @splinterlands contest.
This time I've chosen to represent in my style the character Vruz, using a very striking colouring.
I hope you like this version of the character, without further ado let's start ...!
Creative Process | Proceso Creativo鉁忥笍
Comenc茅 realizando el boceto del personaje, aqu铆 utilice un pincel de color rojo y grande para trabajar de manera c贸moda. Mi composici贸n seria tipo retrato y justo por detr谩s del personaje estar谩 el oro que lleva consigo.
Luego en una nueva capa pase a realizar el lineart, utilizando varios grosores de l铆neas y una mas gruesa para el contorno.
I started by making a sketch of the character, here I used a large red brush to work comfortably. My composition would be portrait type and just behind the character will be the gold that he carries with him.
Then in a new layer I made the lineart, using several line thicknesses and a thicker one for the outline.
Despu茅s aplique los colores base, aqu铆 utilice la paleta de color de la referencia pero con tonos un poquito menos saturados. En una nueva capa comenc茅 a trabajar en las sombras que tendr铆a el personaje y sus elementos, utilizando un pincel duro y suave para difuminar un poco los trazos.
Then I applied the base colours, here I used the colour palette of the reference but with slightly less saturated tones. In a new layer I started to work on the shadows that the character and its elements would have, using a hard and soft brush to blur the strokes a bit.
Aplique color a las sombras y busque tonos que combinaran con los colores base para mejor contraste en los colores. Luego fui agregando las iluminaciones y por ultimo utilice un color blanco para resaltar algunas zonas mas iluminadas y para dar un mejor acabado a la ilustraci贸n.
Cambie de color el fondo por uno de tono morado para complementar los colores del personaje con este. Tambi茅n agregue un contorno de color azul para separar al personaje del fondo un poco.
I applied colour to the shadows and looked for tones that would match the base colours for better contrast in the colours. Then I added the highlights and finally I used a white colour to highlight some of the more illuminated areas and to give a better finish to the illustration.
Change the background colour to a purple tone to complement the character's colours with it. Also add a blue outline to separate the character from the background a little.
Por 煤ltimo decid铆 agregar mas detalle al fondo, utilizando algunos pinceles de pintura y usando degradados de tonos violeta para hacer destacar mas al personaje.

Finally I decided to add more detail to the background, using some paint brushes and using gradients of purple tones to make the character stand out more.
