Yes, there are beaches where you can swim without sharks. The main beach at the Plumeria Hotel is a long stretch of sand where you can swim freely. While the nurse sharks do come to a specific area for feeding in the evenings, they don't frequent the main swimming beach. Also, there's a designated "bikini beach" area a short walk away where swimming is also allowed and there are no sharks. So you have a couple of options for shark-free swimming.
