Greetings, friends in the crafting community. I hope you are having a lovely Sunday; a new week of work and study begins tomorrow, and I am grateful to God for life and for being well with my family. I would like to share a creative idea for the little ones at home.
Les comparto la elaboración de un mini librito para colorear, la idea es realizarlo nosotros mismos para los peques, además es una idea económica y fácil de hacer, con una sola hoja tamaño carta podrás crear este librito, con el diseño que quieras.
I’m sharing how to make a mini coloring book; the idea is to create it ourselves for the little ones. It’s an affordable and easy project—you can make this booklet using just a single sheet of letter-sized paper and whatever design you like.
Utilicé la aplicación Canva para elaborar la estructuraz y todos los dibujos los obtuvo de Pinterest, a continuación les comparto el paso a paso.
I used the Canva app to create the layout and sourced all the drawings from Pinterest; here is the step-by-step process.

El primer paso es seleccionar el diseño que vamos a utilizar, en mi caso estos dos libritos son para mi sobrinito, sus dibujos animados favoritos son Pokémon y los Paw Patrol.
Primero debes abrir la aplicación Canva, vamos a ubicar la opción Tamaño personalizado luego seleccionamos Documento horizontal abres y verás una hoja en blanco, presiona Elementos y buscarás rectángulo, lo vamos a extender en toda la página dejando un pequeño borde.
The first step is to select the design we’re going to use; in my case, these two little books are for my young nephew—his favorite cartoons are Pokémon and Paw Patrol.
First, open the Canva app and locate the Custom size option; then, select Landscape document. Once opened, you will see a blank page. Tap Elements and search for "rectangle," then stretch it across the entire page, leaving a small border.
Ahora en la opción elementos buscarás Líneas seleccionamos y colocamos la línea de forma vertical divida en cuatro espacios, en el centro colocamos una sola linea de forma horizontal. De esta forma ya tenemos la estructura ahora vamos con el diseño.
Now, under the "Elements" option, search for "Lines"; select and place a line vertically to divide the space into four sections, and place a single horizontal line in the center. With the structure now in place, we can move on to the design.
Al presionar sobre la línea tendrás la opción de cambiar el color de tu preferencia, yo seleccioné un azul, debes asegurarte de guardar los cambios, luego debes salir y abrir una nueva página blanca pero de forma vertical, realicé la portada de Pokémon coloqué de fondo un color verde en el centro las letras y al rededor los personas que los descargué de Pinterest, en la opción Herramientas de imágen puedes quitar el fondo.
When you click on the line, you will have the option to change the color to your preference—I chose blue. Make sure to save your changes, then exit and open a new blank page in portrait orientation. I created a Pokémon cover design by setting a green background, placing the text in the center, and arranging characters downloaded from Pinterest around it; you can remove the background using the Image Tools option.
Para la parte trasera también realicé una imagen, pero solo con el nombre de Pikachu y su respectivo dibujo, recuerda que el diseño y colores dependerá de tus gustos e imaginación.
I also created an image for the back, but featuring only the name Pikachu and the corresponding drawing; remember that the design and colors will depend on your own tastes and imagination.
Ahora vamos a buscar en Pinterest los personajes para colorear, debes guardar seis figuras, ahora vamos a cargar todas las imágenes en Canva, de izquierda a derecha colocamos la imagen que quedará en la parte trasera, y de segunda la imagen de portada, ahora vamos a continuar colocando en los siguientes dos espacios los personajes, recuerda dar en la opción quitar fondo. Luego en los siguientes cuatro espacios colocamos los otros dibujos pero quedarán al revés, esto es necesario para el momento de armar el librito quede bien alineado.
Now, let's search Pinterest for coloring-page characters; you need to save six images. Next, upload all the images to Canva. Place the image that will serve as the back cover first (on the left), followed by the front cover image. Then, place the characters in the next two spaces—remember to use the "remove background" option. Finally, place the remaining drawings in the next four spaces, but position them upside down; this is necessary to ensure everything aligns correctly when assembling the booklet.
Este mismo paso lo repetí con el librito de Paw Patrol, con esta estructura puedes crear los libritos que quieras y hasta personalizar con nombre y demás, quedan super bonitos. El siguiente paso es guardar la imagen en alta resolución e imprimir.
I repeated this same step with the Paw Patrol booklet; using this structure, you can create any booklets you like—even personalizing them with names and other details—and they turn out looking great. The next step is to save the image in high resolution and print it.
Ya luego de imprimir vamos a doblar cada uno de los cuatro espacios y también en el centro, ahora vamos a doblar en el centro y cortamos solo en la linea del medio, tomaré las puntas y se formará una especie de cruz, doblamos bien y verás que queda nuestro librito con ambas caras.
After printing, we are going to fold along the lines separating the four sections as well as down the center; then, we fold it in half and cut only along that middle line. By pulling the ends apart, a cross shape forms; press the folds firmly, and you will see the finished booklet with pages on both sides.
