I hated the movie and I haven't read the book so I can feel you and I am sorry hahaha I passed through the same with a saga that I liked when I was younger, "Shadowhunters", the movie and the serie are the worst thing I've watched, so ridiculous, they look nothing like books, I promise. Btw I will trust you and I will give an opportunity to the books!
