Today I want to share with you a workshop my daughters attended on "Drawing with Graphite and Charcoal." I found out about it on Instagram and wanted my daughters to participate.
It took place on August 12th at an iconic landmark in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara State, known as the Flor de Venezuela. We arrived early that day to confirm our registration, which gave us time to tour the facilities.
Outside, there is a variety of plants—we took photos so you can see how beautiful it is—while inside the "Flower," there are fish in tanks, an exhibition of handicrafts, and metal sculptures. There is also a scale model of the Flor de Venezuela (Flower of Venezuela) created by the late architect Fruto Vivas...
There is an amphitheater for cultural events that is rented out for graduations, and an ice cream shop that operates in the afternoon... 10:00 a.m. arrived, and the activity began with interactive exercises.

Pasaron a explicarle la técnica del claroscuro utilizando el gráfito y el carbón para dibujar objetos que se usa en la vida diaria. Al finalizar les dieron una merienda y les tomaron fotos con el dibujo realizado.
A mis hijas les encanto participar, vi que tienen habilidades para el dibujo...Fue un gusto volver a la comunidad y mostrar que hacen mis hijas, nos vemos.
