Nojiri-ko Nature Platforms

The design goal was to generate a new lifestyle in the middle of the natural landscape by recomposing the relationship between nature, building, objects and human beings.
The cottage on Lake Nojiri-ko consists of 5 platforms with different heights, heights and materials, which transform these functions beyond the ground into a table, bench, bed, shelf, reflector and awning. These platforms create an openness, a thermal condition and different perspectives with a stratification structure depending on the undulation of the soil and the forest landscape. Stratification platforms reorganize the landscape / site / building / furniture / object hierarchy with the generation of new living spaces in nature. This project represents the opening of the house on the landscape and its intense relationship with nature and the passing of time.
