Hello dear #Hiveopenmic community, I hope you are very well and have a nice Thursday. This is my participation in week # 79 of #Openmic, for a moment I was afraid that I would not have time to participate in this week, but yes, here I am once again. Unfortunately, my dear colleague is not with me this time, his mother suffers from the blunders of Covid and he has to be her caregiver. Dedicated to them, I hope he recovers soon.
This week's theme is called "Mirrors on Earth", a suitable topic to reflect on and sensitize ourselves a little more to the world.
Veo cielos azules y nubes blancas
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself:
What a wonderful world
I see skies of blue
and clouds of white
The bright blessed days,
the dark sacred night
And I think to myself:
What a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow,
so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of
people going by
I see friends shaking hands, saying:
How do you do?
They're really saying:
I love you!
I hear babies crying,
I watch them grow
They'll learn much more,
than I'll never know
And I think to myself:
What a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself:
What a wonderful world.
A warm and fraternal greeting, I hope to see you soon in the following week of this great open mic.
