I would like to take an opportunity to say THANK YOU to all Amazing and Incredible Nurses and all medical staff who are saving people's life's most of the time forgetting to look after themselves. Yes. It takes something extra to be a nurse taking into consideration the multitude of challenges and struggles which they need to face every day.
I will use the words of Angelou who once said ''As a nurse we have an opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves. They may not remember your name, but they will never forget the way they way you made them feel''. I am need to agree with it and I must say something even more in the current negativity around NHS as not good enough propaganda, that medical staff most of the time are not appreciated and sadly extremely rarely praised enough for the commitment and doing so many extra miles. It is so easy to take things for granted, especially if we are in this 1% of very lucky part of world society who can access the health services for free.
I am saying this because I am a nurse and I can see the ups and downs of nursing profession from the kitchen point of view and this is why people in order to enjoy the humanhood they really need to start appreciated and respect others. And this is what nursing teach me for sure. Secondly to be humble, life without any doubts is the biggest gift, so if you really want to complain about not having this and that go and do some volunteering hours in hospice and you will get your values right. Please learn to never take anything for granted because nothing can be 100%, it is still a space in the world overtaken by science place for miracles to perform.
I am still full of great respect to all of the nurses who are staying faithful to their heart and nursing calling without any doubts all the nurses deserve a great deal of recognition and BIG THANK YOU FOR WHAT THEY DO.
P.S All the nurses YOU ROCK THE WORLD :)
