Lol. You might as well ask if lawyers and politicians will also go to heaven. It's not just the job, it's the heart and the intention with which it's done. Good or bad. To oppress or to defend. That would be what God will be looking at if he is to Grant them passage into heaven. So yes a soldier can make to heaven.
