Françcois Ozon is one of the French directors of today who has great international respect. The first movie I saw of him was 8 Femmes. The cast was excellent and the comedy very well written. Then I had the opportunity to watch Swimming Pool and then Dans la maison. All these films seem to me to be of good invoice. Good direction, good script, good performances and wonderful casts.
I think you're right, there is a new wave in French cinematography.
