News and Opinion: July 29, 2022. The IMF Says That The Ukrainian Conflict May End up Spliting the Global Economy

In this report, the IMF says that the special operation in Ukraine may have as a consequence, the fragmentation of the world economy into different geopolitical blocks.

These geopolitical blocks would have clearly distinguishable technological standards, cross—border payment systems, reserve currencies, etc.

The IMF shows this as a risk, however, it may not be a negative outcome.
