I broke down without a sound,
screaming and crying inside,
in a dark labyrinth,
where the soul is a wailing.
I broke without my eyes
to give me away in the weft,
for the mask of the face
hides all the drama.
I broke while smiling,
a laugh made of sand,
an echo of melancholy,
a dance that doesn't stop.
I broke for so many reasons,
for secrets in the wind,
for words that are bullets,
by dreams in the desert.
I broke, but I don't choose
to stay in ruin
for the dust of my wounds
can be flower, can be life.
