A week ago I made the decision to buy a new pc, I had a somewhat complicated process and experience, and in this post I want to tell you all the things that happened to me and the tips you should take into account when buying a desktop computer.
This purchase came after realizing that the period of my previous pc had ended, the cpu had some hardware problems that was giving me little headaches, and everything was complemented even more when my old monitor began to present problems in the filters and capacitors, a problem for which I had already sent it to repair previously, so everything added up and made me force to venture into a new, fair and more than necessary purchase.

Hace una semana tomé la decisión de comprar una nueva pc, tuve un proceso y una experiencia un poco complicadas, y en este post quiero contarles todas las cosas que me sucedieron y los consejos que debes tomar en cuenta a la hora de adquirir un ordenador de escritorio.
Esta compra se dio luego de comprender que el período de mi anterior pc había culminado, el cpu presentaba algunos inconvenientes de hardware que me estaba dando pequeños dolores de cabeza, y todo se complementó aún más cuando mi viejo monitor empezó a presentar problemas en los filtros y condensadores, un problema por el que ya lo había mandado a reparar con anterioridad, por lo que todo sumaba y hacía fuerza para aventurarme en una nueva, justa y más que necesaria compra.
I wanted a computer with good features, but I could not spend so much money, so that would be an aspect that would limit a little my purchase and that would take me to adjust the final components of the computer but with more than satisfactory performance for me.
I made the purchase in a store in my city, encouraged and confident by the fact that an old friend was working there, I contacted him, I mentioned the features I was looking for and he presented me with different options, among which there was one that caught my attention.
An I3-8100 computer with four cores at 3.6Ghz and 4GB of ram memory, that was the base product for which I would start the purchase, I asked my friend that I wanted to add 4GB more of ram memory for a total of 8GB, it may not be much but I had to keep out of a not so expensive purchase, thinking in the future to make the necessary improvements, the computer was refurbished, something I knew from the beginning and that I did not seem any inconvenience. I will leave the specifications below.
Quería un equipo con buenas características, pero tampoco podía gastar tanto dinero, por lo que eso sería un aspecto que limitaría un poco mi compra y que me llevaría ajustar los componentes finales del ordenador pero con prestaciones más que satisfactorias para mi.
La compra la realicé en una tienda de mi ciudad, animado y confiado por el hecho de que en ese lugar estaba trabajando un viejo amigo, me puse en contacto con el, le mencioné las características que buscaba y el me presentó diferentes opciones, entre las cuales había una que llamaba bastante mi atención.
Un equipo I3-8100 con cuatro núcleos a 3.6Ghz y con 4GB de memoria ram, ese era el producto base por el que empezaría la compra, le pedí a mi amigo que deseaba añadir 4GB más de memoria ram para un total de 8GB, quizás no sea mucho pero debía mantenerme al margen de una compra no tan costosa, pensando a futuro hacer las mejoras pertinentes, el equipo era refurbished, algo que sabía desde un inicio y que no me parecía ningún inconveniente. Además de ser un muy buen procesador, venía con 500GB de disco duro, algo que también pienso mejorar a futuro, con un disco sólido para el sistema operativo, así mismo en la tienda disponían solo de dos tarjetas de video, de 1 y 2GB, esta última algo costosa, por lo que me ajusté a la GeForce GT 710 de 1GB, un modelo no muy nuevo, peor tampoco muy viejo, del año 2016 para ser específicos, a futuro por supuesto será otro de los aspectos de mejoras que iré realizando, pero lo esencial era que quería darle un mejor rendimiento a la pc, no tan excesivo pero si algo bastante modesto.
After the equipment, came the monitor, at first I bought a Dell Class A monitor 22 inches, but when I installed the equipment at home I did not realize that it had no HDMI input, so I quickly called my friend to see if I could make a change, something that fortunately I was allowed to do.
With this new change began the problems, among the options I had was a brand new 22-inch Samsung TV monitor, it seemed great, knowing that I would have a TV monitor that would give me pretty good image results.
It should be noted that in addition to the above mentioned, I also bought a UPS and an HDMI cable but in another store, the latter was the root of my biggest headache, because when I took the new monitor home and connect it, I would be surprised to see an artifacts too creepy, in the first instance I thought there were problems in the board or video card, I asked for technical advice, and my friend, who made the sale suggested me to take the complete equipment to the store the next day, when I arrived to the place, the first thing that was done was to try with another HDMI cable, something that seemed strange to me because the cable I had was new, but to my surprise and fortune this turned out to be the problem, so I decided to immediately buy the same cable that had been put with the equipment, at last I would have my pc fully functional after 3 visits to the store.
Luego del equipo, venía el monitor, en un principio adquirí un monitor Dell Clase A de 22 pulgadas, pero al instalar el equipo en casa no me percaté de que no tenía entrada HDMI, por lo que rápidamente llamé a mi amigo para ver si podía realizar un cambio, algo que afortunadamente se me permitió hacer.
Con este nuevo cambio empezaron los problemas, entre las opciones que tenía estaba un monitor tv marca Samsung de 22 pulgadas totalmente nuevo, me parecía genial, sabiendo que dispondría de un monitor tv que me daría resultados de imagen bastante buenos.
Cabe resaltar que además de lo antes mencionado, también compré un UPS y un cable HDMI pero en otra tienda, esto último fue la raíz de mi mayor dolor de cabeza, pues al llevar el nuevo monitor a casa y conectarlo, me daría con la sorpresa de ver un artifacts demasiado escalofriante, en primera instancia pensé que había problemas en la placa o tarjeta de video, pedí consejos técnicos, y mi amigo, quien me realizó la venta me sugirió llevar el equipo completo a la tienda al siguiente día, al llegar al lugar, lo primero que se hizo fue probar con otro cable HDMI, algo que me parecía extraño pues el cable que tenía era nuevo, pero para mi sorpresa y fortuna resultó siendo esto el problema, por lo que decidí inmediatamente comprar ese mismo cable que habían puesto con el equipo, al fin ya tendría mi pc completamente funcional luego de 3 visitas a la tienda.
In my personal opinion, I believe that when buying a computer, we should preferably buy everything in the same place, so they test the equipment in front of you and guarantee full functionality, in my case, for wanting to save a little with the UPS and cable, I ended up spending a couple of dollars too much.
The Case of my team may not be elegant or anything like that, it is even quite simple and looks a little beaten, but I consider that the important thing is what is inside and the power it offers me, with a fairly acceptable cooling system that for now I have not put with performance tests, but in a couple of days I will surely be doing it. I do not know how much range of game I can run, but I'm sure I will have a very good repertoire of video games to experiment and bring some gameplays to the community.
En mi opinión personal, considero que al momento de comprar un equipo, debemos de preferencia comprar todo en el mismo lugar, así prueban el equipo frente a ti y te garantizan una completa funcionalidad, en mi caso, por querer ahorrar un poco con el UPS y el cable, terminé gastando un par de dólares de más.
El Case de mi equipo quizás no sea elegante ni nada parecido, incluso es bastante sencillo y se ve algo golpeado, pero considero que lo importante es lo que lleva dentro y la potencia que me ofrece, con un sistema de enfriamiento bastante aceptable que de momento no he puesto con pruebas de rendimiento, pero que en un par de días seguramente lo estaré haciendo. No sé que tanta gama de juego pueda ejecutar, pero estoy seguro que tendré un muy buen repertorio de videojuegos para experimentar y traer algunos gameplays a la comunidad.

I believe that buying a computer can sometimes end up being a headache, but if we anticipate and make a good management, we can end up solving problems of serious appearance, fortunately everything went well except the mishaps mentioned with the monitor, something with which I advise to be very careful when buying, now I have a better equipment with which I hope to have a very pleasant experience, the anxieties to play are latent, I am happy with my acquisition and it is the most important thing of all, in advance thanks to all those who have added their votes of support to my content, because much of the money of the purchase was generated thanks to this great social network, with effort things are achieved. Little by little I will be making improvements to my Setup to make it more attractive, we will be seeing each other in a next opportunity.

Considero que comprar un equipo a veces puede terminar siendo un dolor de cabeza, pero si nos anticipamos y hacemos una buena gestión, podemos terminar solventando problemas de apariencia grave, afortunadamente todo salió bien salvo los percances mencionados con el monitor, algo con lo que aconsejo estar muy pendientes a la hora de comprar, ahora tengo un mejor equipo con el que espero tener una muy agradable experiencia, las ansias por jugar son latentes, estoy feliz con mi adquisición y es lo más importante de todo, de antemano gracias a todos quienes han sumado sus votos de apoyo a mi contenido, pues gran parte del dinero de la compra fue generado gracias a esta gran red social, con esfuerzo se consiguen las cosas. De a poco iré haciendo mejoras a mi Setup para hacerlo más vistoso, nos estaremos viendo en una próxima oportunidad.
